Müge Albayrak is a postdoc researcher at the Institut d'ingénierie du territoire-de la Haute école d'ingénierie et de gestion du canton de Vaud (HEIG-VD) / Haute école spécialisée de Suisse Occidentale (HES-SO) by the support of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), under the supervision of Prof. Sébastien Guillaume. During her time here, she will conduct in astrogeodetic observational campaign to establish a new European Alps’ geoid model.
She is attached to the "Geomatics" competence axis, specializing in geodetic astronomy. She holds a PhD in Geomatics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in February 2020. She was awarded the Fulbright scholarship to conduct PhD research at the School of Earth Sciences at the Ohio State University, USA in 2018–2019. She was also previously awarded the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and TUBITAK scholarships to conduct PhD research at the Institute of Astronomical and Physical Geodesy at Technical University of Munich, Germany in 2017–2018.
