Interactive installation for the 2021 job fair
The "question bar" is an interactive installation created for the HEIG-VD stand at the "Salon des Métiers" in Lausanne, allowing people to discover the HEIG-VD and its various courses of study in a playful and autonomous way.
A few words about the project…
The "question bar" is an interactive installation that was conceived and created at the Media Engineering Institute to allow young people at the career fair in Lausanne to discover the HEIG-VD and its various courses of study in a playful and autonomous way. Rather than giving information in a passive way, the messages are arranged in the form of questions printed on cards, motivating curiosity and offering a tangible support. Visitors are free to select the ones that correspond to their questions and insert them into a reader specially developed for the occasion. The answers, written specifically for this audience, are then displayed on the screen. The cards, in Instagram format, can be taken away and used elsewhere, for example for a discussion with parents once back home.
This concept is available in many variations of cards and shapes and can be easily adapted to other event contexts.
